Of course it is easy. If I can do it, anyone can do it! :-)

I'm absolutely amazed by your artwork! It's stunning how you manage to get that form of realism and the amount of detail is mesmerizing :D

Question:

If you use some sort of masking, do you use a plotter to cut or?

What types of airbrushes do you normally use, or recommend?

I use different types of masking, usually in the form of paper or frisket. I don't use a plotter in my own work, but I have used one to make masks for my students. I prefer an Iwata CM-SB or an HP-SB airbrush. I recommend the side cup airbrushes because a side cup uses less paint, and does not interfere with my line of sight when I am trying to aim the airbrush.

The snow was created with solid opaque colors. There was no stippling used, and no white of the board showing. I first painted the background elements with very low contrast to simulate atmosphere, then added the closer elements. ;)

Thank you so much for taking your time to answer our questions :D

Ok, I can see why you'll use it with students, it's a rather time consuming thing to do during classes.

I use a Badger 360' due to the fact that I only use one hand/arm, and not the dominant one for airbrushing. But a sidefeed airbrush probably could work well for me also, so that'll be the next one I buy :D
The line of sight is a great issue for me on the topfeeds, but not on the siphonfeeds. I then thought the sidefeeds would give me the same issue as the topfeeds.
